2016.03.15. Bhoomi Pujan Ceremony at Royal Danish Chancellery Site in New Delhi, India
The start of construction of the New Royal Danish Chancellery in New Delhi, India was celebrated today with the traditional Bhoomi Pujan Ceremony (ground-breaking ceremony). Staff from the Royal Danish Embassy, including Deputy Head of Mission Martin Mikkelsen, attended the event, along with employees of the general contractor Ahluwalia Contractors (India) Ltd., represented by Mr. Ahluwalia and Mr. A.S. Saini.
The new compound will consist of a chancery, housing, underground parking, perimeter walls and compound access control building. Hollingsworth Pack is providing construction management services for the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in cooperation with project managers EKJ Consulting Engineers of Copenhagen.

Opførelsen af det nye danske kancelli i New Delhi, Indien blev i dag fejret med en traditionel Bhoomi Pujan ceremoni (fejring af det første spadestik). Ansatte fra den danske ambassade, inklusiv Souschef Martin Mikkelsen, deltog i arrangementet sammen med ansatte fra totalentreprenør Ahluwalia Contractors (India) Ltd., repræsenteret ved Hr. Ahluwalia og Hr. A.S. Saini.
Det nye bygningskompleks vil bestå af ambassade, beboelse, underjordisk parkering, ydermur og en adgangskontrolbygning. Hollingsworth Pack bistår Udenrigsministeriet med tilsyn og byggeledelse i samarbejde med projektledere fra EKJ Rådgivende Ingeniører.
