Hollingsworth Pack was selected as the prime consultant for a new Entry Control Facility at Naval Air Station Sigonella, Italy. Hollingsworth Pack supported ECC, a US Design/Build Contractor, who received their the fourth task order under a multiple award construction contract.
Working under the leadership of Hollingsworth Pack, the local team of design architects and engineers provided design services with local Antonino Battaglia of Rome as Architect of Record, and Studio Santamaria of Catania, Italy for Engineering Services. Hollingsworth Pack Williamsburg was responsible for project management, quality control and supporting code compliance for fire/life safety engineering.
The $5 million project included anti-terrorism/force protection and security measures.
