New foundation construction of a custom home and pool house.
This impressive three-story residence spans over 5,700 square feet, offering a luxurious living space in central Austin. Large open spaces, windows and cantilever canopies required the use of structural steel to supplement a traditionally wood-framed home with a basement. Given the unique soil conditions with highly expansive clay, a structurally suspended foundation system was implemented, with an underslab drainage system and pump. This foundation system is supported by deep drilled piers, ensuring the stability and durability of the home for generations to come.
