New construction of a two-story residence of approximately 20,000 conditioned square feet. The building will be constructed on a highly-sloped site with views of the Texas Hill Country, requiring cast-in-place concrete retaining walls surrounding the lower level and swimming pool. Close coordination with the builder, surveyor and geotechnical engineer was performed to aid constructability near a vertical cliff face while preserving heritage trees. The building is a mixture of conventional steel and wood framing. Hollingsworth Pack Austin is performing structural engineering.
