On June 1, Justice Minister Marou Amadou received from the Deputy Chief of Mission at the US Embassy in Niamey, Niger, Mr. Phillip Nelson, the new Niamey Prison solicitation documents prepared by the Hollingsworth Pack design team.

The Coordinator for the US Department of State, Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) Mr. Mark Bent, and Madame Bibata Boubacar Adamou, Secretary General of the Nigerien Bureau of Prisons were in attendance.
