Last week the SBA-approved Joint Venture between Hollingsworth Pack and our mentor Cushing Terrell was awarded a 5-year Indefinite Quantity Indefinite Delivery contract (IDIQ) to perform A&E services in 10 states, a $50m contract vehicle that will be made available to the Department of the Interior, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, National Park Service, Forest Service, and Bureau of Land Management and Bureau of Indian Affairs.
As part of the Great American Outdoors Act, up to $1.9 billion from energy development´s revenues will be provided every year for 5 years for the development and maintenance of critical facilities and infrastructure in national parks, forests, wildlife refuges, recreation areas, and American Indian schools. In addition, up to $900 million per year from offshore oil and natural gas royalties will be invested in conservation and recreation opportunities across the country.
Every year more than 325 million people visit our National Parks, a number is increasing annually. We look forward to supporting the mission of the Department of the Interior, to help ensure that these landmark environments are available for generations to come.
